Westinghouse Smart TV Remote (IR)

This replaces the original remote that came with Westinghouse Smart TVs sold in India between 2016 and 2022.

Compatible Models:

Westinghouse Smart TV series (Android and non-Android models from 2016 to 2022). Kodak, thomson etc..

What is in the box:
One Woniry replacement remote. Batteries not included (needs two AAA cells).

How to use:
Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the TV sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

Honest notes:
This is an infrared remote, so you need a clear line of sight to the TV. If the TV sensor is behind a cabinet door or blocked, it will not respond. Some very early Westinghouse CRT models (2010 to 2012) used a different IR protocol and may not work with this remote. For LED and Smart TV models from 2016 onwards, compatibility is solid.

Battery life runs about 8 to 10 months with normal daily use. Range is roughly 8 to 10 metres in a typical living room.
