This Woniry replacement remote works with Voltas and Vertex split air conditioners that originally came with the R07/BGE or similar No. 55 code remote.

Compatible Models:

Voltas Split AC: R07/BGE (1.5 Ton models commonly seen in Indian households, typical year range 2015 to present)
Vertex Split AC: units shipping with the same No. 55 remote pattern
Videocon Split AC: certain models using the same button layout

The backlight is the main difference from cheaper versions. Press any button in a dark room and the keypad glows white for about 5 seconds. Helpful when the AC is in a bedroom and you don't want to switch on the light.

What is in the box: one remote, one warranty card. Batteries are not included. You need two AAA cells (pick them up from any kirana shop or order Duracell or Eveready online).

How to use it:
Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the AC indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

Important note: this remote only works if your old remote looked exactly the same and had the same button arrangement. If your Voltas AC came with a different remote design (say, model code starting with Y instead of R), this will not pair. The No. 55 designation is an internal code used by certain ODM suppliers, not an official Voltas part number. Is this IR, Bluetooth, or voice?

Are batteries included?

Batteries are usually not included. Use the same battery type as your original remote (often AAA or AA). Insert fresh batteries before testing the replacement.

What if it does not work or does not fit?
