Voltas Split AC 183V EY Replacement Remote

This Woniry remote replaces the original controller for Voltas 183V EY split air conditioners. No programming or pairing needed. It is an infrared remote, so you point it at the indoor unit and press.

What is in the box: one remote. Batteries not included. You need two AAA cells.

How to use:
Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the device sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

The remote gives you mode switching (cool, fan, dry, auto), swing control, timer on and off (up to 24 hours), temperature adjust from 16 to 30 degrees, fan speed, and sleep mode. The layout matches the stock Voltas design with the EYE smart button near the top.

One honest note: some Voltas AC units from 2018 onwards use a slightly different button layout or code set. If your AC does not respond at all after you insert fresh batteries and aim carefully, the unit may need the exact original part number. This happens in about 1 in 20 cases. Most 183V EY units from 2016 to 2020 work fine with this remote.

The remote body is white plastic with a soft rubber keypad. Range is about 8 to 10 metres in a clear line of sight. Battery life is roughly 8 to 10 months with normal daily use.

Q: Does this remote work with Voltas window AC models?
A: It is designed for split AC units in the 183V series. Window AC remotes often have a different button set. Check the model code on your AC nameplate before ordering.

Q: Do I need to set any codes or pair it with the AC?
A: No. This is an IR remote. Insert batteries, aim at the indoor unit, and press. It works immediately.

Q: My AC is not responding. What should I check?
A: First, confirm the batteries are fresh and installed correctly (match the plus and minus). Second, clean the sensor window on the indoor unit. Third, try from 2 metres away in direct line of sight. If it still does not work, your AC may use a different IR code set.

Q: Is the EYE button the same as on the original?
A: Yes. The EYE smart button is in the same position and sends the same infrared code for energy-saving mode.

Q: What is the return policy if it does not work with my AC?
