Voltas Split AC 183 CY Replacement Remote

This Woniry IR remote replaces the original controller for Voltas 183 CY split air conditioners, part of the Y series sold between 2014 and 2021.

What is in the box:

How to use:
Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the AC indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

Battery life is about 8 to 10 months with daily use. The remote has no backlight on the LCD display. All core functions are present: mode, temperature, swing, fan speed, timer, sleep, turbo.

Honest note: This remote works only with the 183 CY model and closely related variants. If your Voltas AC is from the V or Z series, this remote will not respond because the IR command codes differ between series. Check your AC nameplate or user manual to confirm the exact model number before ordering.
