TCL Split AC TAC-18CSD/V5S Replacement Remote

This replaces the original remote for TCL split air conditioner model TAC-18CSD/V5S.

How to use it: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the AC indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

All the standard AC functions are here: mode (cool, heat, fan, dry, auto), temperature up and down, fan speed, timer, swing, turbo, sleep, and the I-Set energy-saving function. The buttons match the TCL layout, so you will find each control in the same spot as the original.

This Woniry replacement remote uses infrared, the same as the TCL factory remote. Range is about 8 to 10 meters in a direct line of sight. If the AC does not respond, check that the batteries are fresh and the sensor window on the indoor unit is not blocked by a curtain or shelf.

One practical note: the model code printed on the original TCL remote is usually on a sticker inside the battery cover. TAC-18CSD/V5S and TAC-18CSD/V3 share the same button layout and IR protocol, so this remote works with both. If your model code has a different suffix (say, V2 or V4), compare the button arrangement with the product image before ordering. TCL sometimes changes the layout between revisions.
