Sony AV System Remote Replacement

This Woniry replacement remote controls the Sony HT-IV300 home theatre soundbar system. Original code: RM-ANU200.

What is in the box: one remote control unit. Batteries not included (requires two AAA cells).

How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the device sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

The layout mirrors the original Sony IR remote. You get power on/off, volume up and down, input selection, mute, and playback controls (play, pause, skip). Function buttons work the same way as the factory remote. Range is about 8 to 10 metres in a clear line of sight.

One honest note: this remote works only with the HT-IV300 model. If you own a different Sony soundbar (HT-CT series, HT-S series, or a Dolby Atmos bar from 2020 onwards), check the model code on the back of your soundbar before ordering. Later Sony soundbars often use Bluetooth remotes, which need pairing and will not work with this IR unit.

Battery life is typically 8 to 10 months on standard AAA alkaline cells, depending on daily use.
