These cover 1 ton, 1.5 ton, and 2 ton units sold in India between roughly 2015 and 2022. The remote code is often labelled as Model 222 or AC-222 on the back of the original.
What is in the box: one remote. Batteries (two AAA) are not included.
How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the AC indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.
All the standard functions are present: on/off, mode (cool, heat, dry, fan, auto), fan speed (low, medium, high, auto), swing control, timer (on/off timer up to 24 hours), and temperature adjustment from 16°C to 30°C. The sleep mode button is also there if your unit supports it.
One honest note: if your AC is a very old O General model (pre-2010 window units), the IR frequency might be different. This remote is built for the split AC range that uses the 222 code. Window ACs from that era sometimes used a variant code. Check the original remote's model number on the battery compartment before ordering.
