Mi TV XMRM-00A Bluetooth Voice Remote (2020 onwards)

This Woniry replacement remote works with Mi smart TVs that originally came with model XMRM-00A.

Compatible Models:

XMRM-00A (Mi TV 4A, Mi TV 4X, XMRM-006, Redmi Smart TV X series, 32/43/55/65 inch Android TV models from 2020 onwards). Also fits Mi TV Stick and Mi Box S if your original remote was XMRM-00A.

What is in the box: one remote (batteries not included). You will need two AAA cells.

How to pair this remote with your Mi TV:

1. Switch on the TV using the original remote or the power button on the set, and stay on the home screen.
2. Insert two AAA batteries into the new remote (not included).
3. Hold the Home + Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds until the LED on the remote starts blinking. (Mi and Redmi Android TVs use Home + Menu. If yours is a different brand, check the original remote pairing combo since it is the same on the replacement.)
4. The TV will show 'Pair new remote' or detect the remote within 30 to 60 seconds.
5. Once the LED stops blinking and stays solid, the remote is paired. Test the volume button.

First-time tip: keep the remote within 30 cm of the TV during pairing. After pairing, it works from across the room.

This is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) remote, not an IR remote, so it must be paired with the TV before it works.

The remote has dedicated hotkeys for Netflix, Prime Video, and a voice button. Press and hold the mic button to search by voice.

If your TV is currently paired to a different remote, the new remote may need the TV to be in pairing mode (TV settings, Remotes and Accessories, Add new remote). Some Android TVs only allow one paired voice remote at a time. If pairing fails the first time, restart the TV and try again with fresh batteries.

Q: Will this work with my Mi TV 4A 32 inch?
A: Yes, if your original remote was XMRM-00A. Check the model code printed inside the battery compartment of your old remote.

Q: Do I need to pair it every time I use it?
A: No. Pair once and the TV remembers it. The remote reconnects automatically when you press any button.

Q: Can I use this with my Redmi TV without pairing?
A: No. All Bluetooth voice remotes must be paired. It won't respond to button presses until the TV detects it.

Q: What if the voice button does not work?
A: Make sure the TV's language is set to English or Hindi in settings. Voice search needs an active internet connection.

Q: Does this remote work with Mi Box 4K?
A: Only if your Box originally used XMRM-00A. The Mi Box 4K international version (MDZ-22-AB) uses a different remote model and won't pair with this one.
