What is in the box: one remote control. Batteries are not included.
How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the device sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.
Important note: This is a standard infrared (IR) remote. It does not have a microphone or voice search button. If your original Impex evoQ remote had voice control, this will handle all other functions (volume, channel, menu, input, Google TV navigation) but you will not be able to trigger voice search with it. For customers who rarely used the voice feature, this works fine and costs less. For heavy voice users, confirm whether you need that function before ordering.
The remote works from about 8 to 10 meters in a direct line of sight. Keep the TV sensor clean. If a button becomes unresponsive after months of use, remove the batteries, press every button 10 times to discharge static, then reinsert fresh cells.
