These are 1.5 ton inverter split ACs typically sold between 2018 and 2021. If your model code differs even slightly (an extra letter or digit), check the old remote layout button by button before ordering. Hitachi uses different remotes across their tonnage and inverter/non-inverter ranges.
What is in the box: one Woniry replacement remote. Two AAA batteries are not included.
How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.
The remote has a backlit LCD that shows current temp, mode (cool, heat, dry, fan), timer settings, and sleep status. The backlight stays on for about 8 seconds after you press any button, helpful in dim rooms. Battery life is about 10 to 12 months with normal daily use.
Note: the swing button layout may differ cosmetically from the original. The function works the same (louver swing on/off), but the icon shape might not match. All core buttons (power, mode, temp up/down, fan speed, timer, turbo) are in the standard Hitachi layout.
