This replaces the original Egate S9 Pro projector remote. Works with model EO9024.

What is in the box: one IR remote. Batteries not included.

How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the projector sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

This Woniry replacement remote uses standard infrared, so it needs line of sight to the projector. If you mount the projector on the ceiling, aim at the sensor panel on the side or front of the unit. Most Egate projectors have the IR receiver near the lens or on the top panel.

Common issue: if the projector is in a sealed enclosure or AV cabinet, the IR signal may not reach. In that case, position the remote outside the cabinet or drill a small port for the signal.

The button layout matches the original S9 Pro remote (power, source, menu, arrow keys, volume, mute). All functions work as they did before.

Q: Will this work with other Egate projector models?
A: This is made for the S9 Pro (EO9024). Other Egate models may use different IR codes and won't respond.

Q: Do I need to pair this remote with the projector?
A: No. IR remotes do not pair. Just insert batteries and point at the sensor.

Q: What if the projector does not respond?
A: Check battery polarity first. Then aim directly at the IR sensor (usually near the lens or top panel). If the projector is ceiling-mounted, you may need to aim higher or move closer for the first press.

Q: Does this remote have a backlight?
A: No, the original S9 Pro remote did not have backlighting, and neither does this replacement.

Q: Can I use rechargeable AAA batteries?
A: Yes, 1.2V NiMH rechargeables work fine. The remote draws very little current, so one charge lasts weeks.

Will this remote fit my model?

Is this IR, Bluetooth, or voice?
