This remote replaces the original for Daikin MTKL50XV16 inverter split AC units and works with other Daikin inverter models from the same series.
Compatible Models:
MTKL50XV16 (1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter), FTKL50XV16VAA, FTKL50XV16, etc.. (Whichever having same functions)
What is in the box: one Woniry replacement remote. Batteries are not included. You need two AAA cells.
How to use it:
Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.
The remote covers all standard functions: power, temperature up and down, mode (cool, fan, dry, heat if your unit supports it), fan speed, swing, timer, sleep, and turbo. The button layout matches Daikin's typical design, so you will not hunt for the controls.
One honest note: if your AC model is older than 2020 or from a different Daikin series (like the older non-inverter window units or commercial VRV systems), check the model code on the indoor unit nameplate before ordering. This remote is built for the recent inverter split range. If your code starts with something other than MTK, FTK, or ATK, message us the exact code and we will confirm fit.
Battery life runs about 8 to 10 months with typical household use (a few button presses per day). If you use the AC all day every day in summer, expect closer to 6 months.
