This Woniry replacement remote works with Blue Star split air conditioners across the 1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton range. It covers models with convertible cooling modes, inverter technology, and Wi-Fi variants.

This is an infrared (IR) remote. No pairing or app setup required.

What is in the box: one remote. Batteries not included (you need two AAA cells).

How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the AC indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup.

The buttons include on/off, mode (cool, fan, dry, heat), temperature up/down, fan speed, swing, timer, turbo, eco, and sleep. Most Blue Star models from 2018 onward respond to this remote straight out of the box.

One honest note: if your AC model code starts with something other than the prefixes listed above (for example, older WA or SA series from before 2016), check with us before ordering. The remote will not work with Blue Star window ACs or with very old rotary-dial split units.

Q: Does this work with Blue Star window AC?
A: No, this is for split AC models only. Window AC remotes have a different button layout.

Q: Will it control Wi-Fi functions?
A: No. The remote sends basic IR commands (temperature, mode, fan speed). Wi-Fi features still need the Blue Star app.

Q: My original remote is model RG51D/BGE. Will this replace it?
A: Yes, if your AC model code matches one in the compatibility list above. The remote model printed on the back does not matter as much as the AC indoor unit model.

Q: How long do the batteries last?
A: About 8 to 10 months with normal use (a few button presses per day). Low-battery indicator will blink when they run out.

Q: What if it does not work when I first try it?
A: Check that the batteries are fresh and facing the right way. Point directly at the indoor unit sensor (usually a small dark window near the display). If the AC beeps but does nothing, the model may not be on the compatibility list.
