Voltas Split AC 1.5 Ton 183V CZTT Replacement Remote

This Woniry IR remote replaces the original controller for Voltas split air conditioners in the 123V, 153V, and 183V series. The 183V CZTT is the lead model, but the remote works across multiple tonnage and year variants.

What is in the box: the remote. Batteries are not included. You will need two AAA cells.

How to use: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included). Point at the AC indoor unit sensor and press a button. That is the whole setup. IR remotes do not need pairing. If the AC does not respond, check that the batteries are seated correctly and that you are aiming at the sensor window on the unit.

Important note: This remote only works if your original Voltas remote matches one of the model codes listed above. Voltas uses different remote layouts for different series. If your model is outside the 123V, 153V, and 183V range, or if your original remote has a different button layout, this one will not work. Match your old remote's model sticker or the button layout photo before ordering.

Q: Will this work with Voltas 1 ton window AC?
A: No. This is for split AC models only, specifically the series listed above. Window AC remotes have different codes.

Q: Do I need to set codes or program it?
A: No. Insert batteries, point, press. It is ready out of the box for the compatible models.

Q: My AC is Voltas 183V but a different suffix. Will it work?
A: Only if the suffix matches one of the five listed (CZTT, DZU2, SZS, DZV). Voltas changes remote protocols between suffixes. If yours is not on the list, it will not respond.

Q: How long do batteries last?
A: About 8 to 10 months with normal daily use. Depends on how often you adjust temperature and fan speed.

Q: Is this the official Voltas remote?
A: No. This is a compatible replacement made by Woniry. Same button layout, same IR codes, works the same way.
