Samsung 4K Smart TV BN59-01312A Voice Remote (2019-2021)

This Woniry replacement remote works with Samsung 4K Smart TVs that originally shipped with the BN59-01312A or BN59-01312F voice remote. You get voice search, one-touch app access, and all the standard TV controls in a single unit.

BN59-01312A, BN59-01312F, 55Q70TA, BN59-01312D, BN59-01312E, BN59-01312G, BN59-01312K, BN59-01312L, and most Samsung QLED/LED 4K Smart TVs released between 2019 and 2021 (Q60T, Q70T, Q80T, Q90T series, TU7000, TU8000, RU7100, RU8000 series). Check your TV's original remote code on the battery compartment label to confirm.

How to pair this remote with your Samsung TV:

1. Switch on the TV using the original remote or the power button on the set, and stay on the home screen.
2. Insert two AAA batteries into the new remote (not included).
3. Hold the Return + Play/Pause buttons together for about 5 seconds until the LED on the remote starts blinking.
4. The TV will show 'Pair new remote' or detect the remote within 30 to 60 seconds.
5. Once the LED stops blinking and stays solid, the remote is paired. Test the volume button.

First-time tip: keep the remote within 30 cm of the TV during pairing. After pairing, it works from across the room.

This is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) remote, not an IR remote, so it must be paired with the TV before it works.

Honest note: If your TV is currently paired to a different remote, the new remote may need the TV to be in pairing mode (TV settings, Remotes and Accessories, Add new remote). Some Android TVs only allow one paired voice remote at a time. Also, this remote does not work with Samsung TVs made before 2018 or non-Smart LED models that came with IR-only remotes.

Q: Will the voice button work straight away?
A: Yes, once the remote is paired. Press and hold the microphone button, speak your search, then release. The TV will show results within 2 to 3 seconds.

Q: Does this remote need line of sight to the TV?
A: No. Bluetooth remotes work through furniture and walls within about 10 metres. You can control the TV from the next room if needed.

Q: My TV is a 2022 model. Will this work?
A: Probably not. Samsung changed the remote protocol in 2022 for most models. Check your original remote code. If it starts with BN59-0132x or BN59-0133x, this one should pair. If it's BN59-0135x or newer, you need the updated version.

Q: Can I use this remote and my old IR remote at the same time?
A: Yes. The TV will respond to both. The voice features only work on the Bluetooth remote, but power and volume work on either.
